About Us: Your Safe Space for Mental Wellness and Self-Care 🌱

You ever feel like life’s just a lot? Like, between work, relationships, and trying to keep your head above water, you’re just craving a moment of peace? That’s why I started this site a place where we can all take a deep breath, figure out what’s going on in our minds, and find practical ways to feel a bit more like ourselves. I’m not here to sell you some perfect, polished version of wellness. Nope, this is about real, messy, human moments and how we can navigate them with a little more kindness toward ourselves and others

This About Us page is my chance to share the why behind this site, who I am (spoiler: just one person with a coffee-stained notebook and a passion for mental health), and what you can expect from the content here. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, figuring out who you are, or just trying to survive a tough day, I want you to feel seen and supported. Let’s dive in!

Focused research and analysis in progress, gathering studies and insights

Seriously, we’re so glad you found u

This little corner of the internet started from a single question:

“Why does self-care feel like just another thing to get right?”

Truth is, I’m not a therapist. I’m not a certified coach or a mindfulness guru.
I’m just one person someone who’s struggled with anxiety, burnout, and that weird in-between space where you feel numb but still exhausted.

So, instead of trying to “fix myself,” I began reading. A lot. Psychology articles, trauma healing blogs, neuroscience papers, even random Reddit threads.
Eventually, something clicked.

I realized healing doesn’t always look like huge breakthroughs. Sometimes, it’s just being kind to yourself for making it through the day

Expert Review & Scientific Support

Dr Feyzi Avatar

All psychological and mental wellness content on this site is reviewed by Dr. Fayzi, a licensed clinical psychologist (PhD in Psychology, Islamic Azad University – Isfahan).
While the writing remains personal and story-based, Dr. Fayzi ensures that each article maintains scientific integrity, emotional accuracy, and ethical soundness.
This collaboration allows us to blend real human experiences with evidence-based insight creating a space that’s both heartfelt and informed.

My goal is simple: to create a space where mental health and self-care don’t feel like a chore or a buzzword. I want this site to be like that friend who listens without judgment, shares tips that actually work, and reminds you that you’re not alone. We’re all about practical, heartfelt content think articles on managing digital overload or finding peace in a loud world.

I’m not here to pretend I’ve got all the answers. But I believe that by exploring mental wellness together through research, stories, and a bit of trial and error we can find ways to feel a little lighter. And yeah, I mean everyone. Whether you’re navigating work stress, family drama, or questions about your identity, this site is for you. No gatekeeping, no judgment just a safe space to grow

🎯 What This Site Is (and Isn’t)

This space isn’t here to give you perfect answers.
It’s here to:

  • Remind you you’re not broken
  • Offer tools and reflections that helped me and might help you
  • Create a warm, judgment-free zone to explore your inner world

It’s not:

A one-size-fits-all path to success

A replacement for therapy

A “grind harder” or “manifest better” type of place

👤 Who’s Behind All This?

This project is built out of curiosity, compassion, and years of quiet reflection (plus a few existential crises and a lot of tea).

It’s just me someone who used to overthink every emotion and now writes to understand them.
I don’t claim to know all the answers, but I do believe in:

  • Emotional honesty over perfection
  • Micro self-care over big unrealistic routines
  • Sitting with your sadness instead of fighting it

I’m the one running this show just one person with a love for learning and a heart for helping others. No fancy degrees here, and I’m totally okay with that. My expertise comes from diving deep into books, articles, and real-life stories about mental health, self-care, and personal growth. I’m the kind of person who’s always got a notebook full of scribbled ideas, usually written at 2 a.m. after too much coffee. 😅

A few years ago, I hit a rough patch y’know, those days when your brain just won’t shut up? I started researching ways to manage anxiety and found that small, intentional changes like journaling or cutting back on screen time made a huge difference. That’s when I realized I wanted to share what I was learning, not as an expert, but as someone who’s been there and gets it. So, I started this site to pass along tips, stories, and ideas that might help you too.

I’m not a therapist or a guru just a curious human who believes mental wellness should be accessible to everyone. I pour my heart into researchiing and writing articles that feel practical and real, like how to say no without guilt or why rest can feel so hard.

What Kind of Content Do We Share?

Think of this site as your go-to for mental health and self-care tips that don’t feel like a lecture. I write about stuff like:

  • Managing Overwhelm: From decision fatigue to handling constant notifications.
  • Building Self-Compassion: Learning to be kinder to yourself, like in our article on embracing sensitivity.
  • Practical Self-Care: Simple habits, like a gentle morning routine, that fit into real life.
  • Navigating Life’s Messy Moments: Whether it’s stress, identity, or relationships, we cover it with honesty and care.

📝Every article is backed by my research think books, studies, and real-world insights but written in a way that feels like a chat with a friend. I’m not here to throw jargon at you; I want you to walk away with something you can actually use, whether you’re a busy parent, a student, or someone exploring who they are.

And yeah, I make sure the content feels welcoming to everyone. For example, I know folks in the LGBTQ+ community sometimes face unique challenges, like navigating societal pressures or finding safe spaces. While that’s not the only focus, I weave in those perspectives to make sure no one feels left out. It’s all about creating a space where everyone can find something that resonates.

✨ What You’ll Find Here

  • Deep-dive articles on emotional patterns, healing journeys, self-neglect, identity shifts, and more
  • Self-reflection prompts to help you journal, pause, and process
  • Real stories, not just curated Instagram wellness
  • Gentle reminders that you’re doing better than you think

And yeah, sometimes I might share a personal story that sounds messy or incomplete because healing is messy and incomplete.

Why I Started This Site: A Little Story 💭

I’ll never forget the moment this site went from a “maybe someday” idea to something real. I was sitting in a noisy café, feeling totally overwhelmed by life, when I stumbled across a book on mindfulness. It wasn’t some life-changing epiphany, but it planted a seed. I started digging into mental health topics reading, researching, and trying things out in my own life. Some worked (like cutting back on my phone obsession), and some didn’t (turns out, I’m terrible at meditation). 😄 But through it all, I kept thinking, “Why is this stuff so hard to find in a way that feels human?”

That’s when I decided to start this site. I wanted to create a place where people could find practical, no-BS tips for mental wellness without feeling judged or overwhelmed. My motivation? To make mental health less scary and more approachable, whether you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout, or just trying to figure out who you are. I’m especially inspired by stories from folks who’ve felt like they don’t quite fit in like someone who wrote to me about using self-care to navigate family tension around their identity. Those stories remind me why I keep going.

Every article I write is based on hours of reading, researching, and reflecting on what actually helps. I double-check my sources (think books, studies, and trusted sites like Psychology Today ⚠️) and try to share insights that feel real and doable.

I’m also committed to making this a safe space for everyone. Whether you’re a student stressing about exams, a parent juggling a million things, or someone in the LGBTQ+ community navigating life’s challenges, I want you to feel welcome here. Creating content that feels real, honest, and emotionally grounded takes time, energy, and lots of invisible labor especially when it’s a one-person project built on passion (and way too much tea).

It helps cover server costs, emotional bandwidth, and future ideas we’re dreaming up like printable journal templates, more reflection tools, and audio versions of articles.

There’s no pressure, of course. But if you’re in a position to give a little love back, here’s how 💛

We currently accept donations via Tether (USDT – BSC BEEP20). It’s fast, low-fee, and helps us keep everything going without relying on heavy ads or sponsorships.
